Marie-Josée Choquette’s debut album features original pieces, intricately woven and inspired by classical music. These compositions and polyphonic arrangements allow each instrument to engage in a dialogue. Led by the piano, the music sets both dance-like and romantic moods, while the violin, viola, cello, flugelhorn, accordion, percussion, and guitars blend into a captivating orchestration.
Nominated for the ADISQ award in the “Instrumental Album of the Year” category in 2008, Ezperanto was also selected as a “Coup de cœur” (Staff Favourite) at Renaud-Bray bookstores and was ranked among the bestsellers at Archambault stores.
